DESCRIPTION:FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. \n\nCandidates Forum.   Tuesday\, September 24 from6 to 8pm at The Court Street Livery\; 16 West Court St\; Washington.\n\nAll candidates running for Washington City Council and Mayor (in both the General and Special Elections) have been invited to a Candidates Forum.  The Forum is not a debate and will be conducted by a moderator.  Each participating candidate will give an opening statement\, answer several  questions from the moderator\, and then give a closing statement.   YOU PROVIDE THE QUESTIONS.  Citizens are invited to submit their questions ahead of the forum.  Questions may be submitted in writing to the Chamber of Commerce\; 26B West Square\; Washington\, Ga 30673 or by email at WWChamberOfCommerce@gmail.com.   The Forum will allow candidates to present their ideas and\n\nqualifications and provide information to the voters. Candidates will not debate with one another\n\nand the Forum will not offer direct interaction between candidates and the audience.  However there will be a social time after the Forum for the candidates and the community to meet.
