DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendar and make plans to join us on January 26 for the Washington-Wilkes Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet.  \n\n \n\nWe are excited to announce that this year?s guest speaker will be Mr. Keith McGregor\, Vice President of Operations for Canfor.  Canfor's North American facilities produce high-quality dimension lumber\, value-added finishing products and top-quality pulp & paper.  They are also a leading producer of wood pellets and green energy.  Mr. McGregor will be updating us on the status of the upcoming industrial investment that Canfor is set to make in Wilkes County.\n\n\n\nTwo other high-profile speakers will also be in attendance.  Georgia's 10th District Congressman Jody Hice and Georgia Forestry Association Director of government Affairs Tom Beyer will also be in attendance and take part in the program.\n\n \n\nThe Banquet is a celebration of businesses and individuals that you decided have gone above and beyond in making Washington-Wilkes the best it can be.
