DESCRIPTION:The Kettle Creek Battlefield Association is proud to partner with the Civil War Trust & Campaign 1776 in its usual Park Day 2017 celebration.  This is the 21st year that the Civil War Trust and Campaign 1776 has sponsored this national effort to promote appreciation of hallowed battlefields through active participation or patriot volunteers.  This year\, the Civil War Trust & Campaign 1776\, in partnership with The Kettle Creek Battlefield Association\, is offering the community the opportunity to participate in Park Day 2017\, at the Kettle Creek Battlefield in Wilkes County\, GA\, a volunteer effort to care for the historic places that made this country what it is today.  \n\n\n\nThe objective is to clear the trails of trash\, leaves and weeds so please bring a box lunch (water will be provided) gloves\, rakes\, clippers and trash bags.  Thank you.
