Revolutionary Days

About Us

Revolutionary Days celebrates the Patriot victory of the Battle of Kettle Creek every 2nd weekend in February. See below for 2021 details.

The battle of Kettle Creek took place on February 14, 1779, lasted less than two hours, and was the only Revolutionary battle to be fought and won in Georgia.

“Kettle Creek was the severest check and chastisement the Tories ever received in South Carolina or Georgia.” - Colonel Andrew Pickens -

Revolutionary Days bring together patriotic and historical organizations, battle descendants, and the public for a weekend celebration of events and reenactments. The annual event is family-friendly and educational for all ages.

Sponsored by the Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution.
