About Us

American Pest Control's Washington Service Center serves the Wilkes, Lincoln and more County communities with excellent pest and termite protection.

At American Pest Control we work hard to service every client's needs effectively to protect one of their most important investments, their homes. Termites and Pests cause millions of dollars of damage every year, and by taking our proactive approach of Integrated Pest Management APC protects our clients from harm caused by pests.

American Pest Control introduced the Gene Higginbotham Memorial Scholarship in May 2016. Gene Higginbotham founded American Pest Control in 1971. He valued family, education, and community as top priorities for his company. Mr. Higginbotham passed away on August 30th, 2015 and the scholarship was created in his honor by family and employees to continue his legacy. The scholarship is open to all local students.

July 2020: American Pest Control Recognized in Industry Top 100

Pest Control Technology Magazine has named family owned and locally operated pest management company, American Pest Control, as number 53 in the industry’s top 100 largest firms. The recognition is awarded to organizations within the industry each year.
