City of Tignall–North Wilkes Steering Committee

The City of Tignall–North Wilkes Steering Committee is dedicated to strengthening, beautifying, and celebrating the North Wilkes community. Through local fundraising efforts, the committee supports projects, events, and programs that make Tignall an even better place to live, work, and visit.

Supporting the Community

Funds raised by the committee help support:

Fall and Christmas decorations throughout the community
Beautification projects in Tignall and North Wilkes County
Improvements to the Old School Grounds, including upgrades to the stage and gazebo
An annual Veterans Day program honoring local veterans
Two $500 scholarships for graduates from the North Wilkes area
Community Easter egg hunts
Christmas caroling
The annual “I’d Rather Be in Tignall” Festival
Additional community programs, celebrations, and improvement projects
