Description
Optimist Club of Washington's 8th Annual 5K Race (registration is required). Proceeds benefit local youth programs, including scholarships to graduating seniors and continues our commitment to "bring out the best in kids".
The race begins at 8:15 a.m., behind the Wilkes County Court House. Runners travel a course that takes them along some of Washington Georgia’s beautiful, historic streets and back, then ends, as it began, behind the Court House.
An announcement of place finishers and awards will follow, to close out the event.
Pre-registration Fees:
Postmarked by May 8, 2019: $20 with t-shirt or $17 without t-shirt
May 9th through Race Day: $25 with t-shirt or $20 without t-shirt
